Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Lootrow (lootrow.com), operated by Rowrow LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. By using Lootrow you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Lootrow is a player-to-player marketplace for virtual game items and currencies. Buyers pay sellers in USDC on the Base network through a non-custodial escrow smart contract. Lootrow provides the marketplace, escrow tooling, and dispute arbitration — we are not a party to trades, and we never take custody of your fiat money.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be 18 or older. You sign in with Discord and receive a self-custody smart wallet; you are solely responsible for safeguarding access to your account and wallet. You may export your wallet's private key at any time.

3. Trades & escrow

When a buyer pays, funds lock in the escrow contract. The seller delivers the items in-game; the buyer confirms receipt, which releases funds to the seller. If the buyer does not confirm or a dispute is opened, Lootrow's arbitration decides release or refund under the escrow contract's published rules, including automatic timeout handling. Blockchain transfers are irreversible once settled.

4. Fees

Sellers pay a flat 5% fee on completed sales. Founding sellers (first 50): 0% for 90 days starting at their first posted listing, then 3% for life, per our public commitment; spots unactivated for 30 days after claiming, or left without an active listing during the free period, may be released. Buyers pay no Lootrow fee. Third-party services you choose to use (e.g., funding via Coinbase, cash-out via Coinbase or Transak) charge their own fees under their own terms.

5. Cash-out & third-party services

Cashing out USDC to your bank is provided by Coinbase or Transak under their own terms, including identity verification. Wallet infrastructure is provided by Privy; funding rails by Coinbase Developer Platform. We are not responsible for third-party services.

6. Risks you accept

Trading virtual items may violate the terms of service of the underlying game and can risk in-game penalties including account bans — you trade at your own risk. Crypto assets involve risk; USDC transfers on-chain are irreversible. Item names and game titles belong to their respective publishers; Lootrow is not affiliated with or endorsed by any game publisher.

7. Prohibited conduct

No fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, stolen goods, botted or exploited items, use by minors, or any unlawful activity. We may suspend accounts, cancel listings, and report unlawful conduct. Escrowed funds of a suspended account remain governed by the escrow contract's rules.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROWROW LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSSES CAUSED BY GAME PUBLISHERS, BLOCKCHAIN NETWORKS, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES.

9. Termination, changes, governing law

You may stop using Lootrow at any time. We may modify or discontinue the service, and may update these terms by posting the new version here. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Contact: hello@lootrow.com.
